Turkey can also be a gentle alternative for dogs sensitive to beef or chicken-based recipes.

Carrots

Most dogs love carrots, and Cooka absolutely adores them as a healthy chew. These orange beauties are rich in beta-carotene, supporting good vision, healthy skin and coat, and your dog’s natural defences. High in soluble fibre, carrots also help support digestion.

Oats

Oats are among the healthiest grains on earth. Naturally gluten-free, they are a great source of vitamins B and E, minerals like zinc, iron and selenium, and are rich in fibre and antioxidants. Oats support healthy digestion, balanced blood sugar levels and heart health, while providing easily digestible, high-quality protein with a good balance of amino acids. They are especially suitable for pets with gluten sensitivities.

Yogurt

Yogurt can be very beneficial for our dogs. High in protein, a good source of calcium, which is vital for healthy bones and full of probiotics which are important for the digestive system. Our preferred yogurt is Greek yogurt

Honey

Honey has antimicrobial and antifungal properties, can help to reduce inflammation, sooth stomach ulcers and even assist in curing allergies.

Coconut

Coconut is a nourishing tropical fruit, naturally rich in fibre and valuable nutrients. It contains medium-chain fatty acids, often called “good fats”, which gently support the immune system and provide a natural source of energy. Coconut can also help support healthy digestion and contribute to a shiny coat and comfortable skin.

Tapioca

Tapioca flour comes from the cassava root. This starch-based ingredient is commonly used to thicken foods like soups, stews or our yogurt-based cake and cookie frosting. The flour has a very low nutritional value, but being a 'resistant starch' it is very beneficial for the digestive system, as it improves the population of "good" bacteria in the gut microbiome.

Cooka adora o Senhor Nuno, o nosso comerciante de carne local de Mafra. O rabo dela começa a abanar assim que ouve os pneus do seu camião chegando à nossa padaria. A carne do Nuno é sempre de qualidade premium, totalmente rastreável e, claro, de nível humano.

Cenouras
As cenouras são uma mastigação saudável favorita dos cães. Essas belezas laranjas são uma fonte concentrada de betacaroteno, que promove visão forte, apoia uma pele brilhante e saudável, e fortalece o sistema imunológico. Ricas em fibra solúvel, também auxiliam na saúde digestiva.

Aveia
A aveia está entre os grãos mais saudáveis disponíveis. É sem glúten, rica em vitaminas E e B e em minerais como zinco, ferro e selênio, além de conter fibras e antioxidantes. Our fresh cakes are carefully shipped in a specially insulated cool box and usually arrive within 24 hours. In rare cases, delivery may take up to 48 hours. This normally does not affect the quality, as the cakes are kept in a controlled, cool environment throughout their journey.

We ship with MRW to ensure reliable and fast delivery. You are also welcome to collect your order directly from our kitchen at no additional cost. We love meeting our clients, so do come by and just say hello.

Deliveries do not take place on Mondays. To protect freshness, we carefully schedule shipments so that parcels are not held over the weekend.

Cooka’s fresh cakes keep for up to 6 days in the refrigerator and can be frozen for up to 6 months.

Our personalised cookies are freshly prepared and best enjoyed within 4 weeks of purchase. The glazing may naturally crackle over time as it dries, but this does not affect the taste or deliciousness of the treat.
