Dogs and their hoomans agree—when the temperature soars, nothing refreshes like a frozen treat. But is it right to share hooman ice-cream with our pets? NO, it is absolutely not! Sugar, chocolate, substitute sweets and other additives can be harmful or even dangerous for our dogs, so please take care. And if you cannot resist those longing sweet eyes watching your every lick, how about making your own pupsicles for your fur-friend? Healthy, nutritious and totally dog-hooman approved, here are our favourite cooling recipes.

PUPPY COLADA 1 ripe papaya pureed, 2 teaspoon of grated coconut, 100g plain yogurt (greek preferably) Mix all up and pour into silicon shapes and freeze Enjoy the pleasing licking sounds of your doggie WATERMELON SHERBET Puree few slices of watermelon and mix with 100ml of coconut water Pour into the silicon shapes and freeze CAROB AND CINNAMON SWIRL Puree 3 ripe bananas, mix with 3 spoons of carob flour, 200ml of kefir (unflavoured) and half a teaspoon of cinnamon. Pour into silicon shapes and freeze.
